We have both worked within education and early childcare for many years. As mothers, we understand the difficulty of being present at important family events whilst caring for and entertaining small children. My childcare experience started in high school where I volunteered for the local summer play scheme. I then went on to college to complete my SVQ level 3 to become a Nursery nurse. I worked in private nurseries for over 10 years. I now work in a primary school in East Lothian supporting children with additional needs. I am also a leader for Girl Guiding.
At home, I am a mum of 2 lovely teenagers aged 16 and 13.

My experience with children started whilst at high school when I was an after-school babysitter to a local family. I completed my undergraduate degree in Education before becoming a nanny for a wonderful family in Edinburgh. Since then, I have completed my PGDE Primary and Masters of Education degrees, and have taught in East Lothian for 9 years.
At home, I am also mum to a lovely, yet lively, 2.5 year old.
